You can send two kinds of markers to your watch: ones from your catalog, and ones from a specific hike. Here's how both work.
Catalog markers
This is your whole library — everything you've added to your catalog yourself. It transfers through the Preload panel on the map.
Open the map and find the Preload panel.
Go to the Markers tab and tap Create — your library is packaged and ready to load.
On your watch, open Downloads → Markers and download the library.
Important. The preload doesn't refresh on its own. If you change your marker catalog, delete the old preload on the site, create it again, and download it to your watch once more.
Hike markers
Sometimes you don't need every marker — just the ones tied to a particular hike. You can load those on their own and keep the map free of clutter.
These markers travel to your watch together with the hike's route and data. You prepare them on the hike page, using the Send to device button.
Important. Changes to a hike don't reach the preload automatically. Tap Send to device after every change to refresh it.
Which markers should the watch show?
You set this right on the watch. Open the menu on the map screen and go to Map → Show markers. There are three options:
All — both catalog and hike markers;
Hike — only the current hike's markers;
None — a map with no markers.
